Do you want to travel through Turkey on your own motorcycle and need the right insurance coverage?

If you are planning to travel to Turkey on your motorcycle, you should check your current insurance coverage first.

Green Card does not always provide coverage for travels through Turkey

Most European countries and some non-European countries are included in your insurer’s Green Card. However, Turkey is not always included. Only if Turkey is stated as included on your Green Card, your motorcycle will be insured in Turkey. Please check, if Turkey’s Asian part is included in the insurance coverage as well and contact TourInsure if this is not the case.

What does the international motor insurance and frontier insurance cover?

The international motor insurance and frontier insurance is tied to the vehicle, not the driver. That means that your motorcycle is insured and any fellow traveler may drive your motorcycle. The only condition is that the respective driver is at least 21 years old and has a valid driver’s license. There will be no premium surcharge of 25% for drivers from the age of 25.
